These are other deviant's cool deviations that I really like. I guess the name Favourites should have told you that but some visitors here have thought it was my work. Those other deviants deserve all the credit for this art.

Personal Quote:The sense of wishing to be known only for what one really is is like putting on an old, easy, comfortable garment. You are no longer afraid of anybody or anything. You say to yourself, 'Here I am --- just so ugly, dull, poor, beautiful, rich, interesting, amusing, ridiculous -- take me or leave me.' And how absolutely beautiful it is to be doing only what lies within your own capabilities and is part of your own nature. It is like a great burden rolled off a man's back when he comes to want to appear nothing that he is not, to take out of life only what is truly his own. -David Grayson, journalist and author (1870-1946)
In the middle part of February I flew over 7,500 miles from my home in Green Bay, WI to the "end of the world" Ushuaia, Argentina. Once there, I boarded a cruise ship. The Golden Princess, and sailed to Punta Arenas, Chile then onto the Amalia Glacier and then to Puerto Montt, Chile and then Valparaiso. From there the ship turned around and we took the same route in reverse leaving the ship once in Ushuaia.

I had joined my brother in Atlanta. My brother, a singer and musician was an entertainer on the ship during the two weeks we were aboard. I was able to share his cabin for a greatly discounted rate. So, not only was it a fantastic trip to the other end of the earth, but I got to spend that time with my brother. I got to share a small part of how he makes his living. He works cruise ships all over the planet and has been doing so for the last few years now. He's a very talented and blessed human being.

I have begun to post some of the images I captured while on this journey. I will continue to post them as time allows. I hope you enjoy.
